MCFC Supporters Club Branch Pages

Manchester City Football Club Supporters New York City (MCFCNYC) welcomes and encourages membership from all regions of the United States and overseas. We currently have 30 members coming from the New York City Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) and as far away as Massachusetts, Texas, South Carolina, and even Manchester, England itself.

Prior to formation in the summer of 2007, fans of Manchester City in New York and beyond had been loosely organized, and the main purpose was simply to alert fans to television coverage of City's matches. The founding of the club as a branch of the Official Supporters Club was effected in order for fans of Manchester City to dig deeper roots in the States: to provide an official presence and structure, to promote awareness of Manchester City FC to the public, and to offer City supporters better opportunities to communicate and to come together around the football club. We also hope we can serve as a sort of welcoming committee for City supporters visiting New York or the USA from abroad.

Local members regularly meet at Nevada Smith's in Manhattan's East Village to watch matches. Nevada's welcomes fans of Manchester City and all other football clubs and is THE place to watch football in New York City.
