Membership
There is a one-off payment of ?10 (single) or ?15 (family) to join our branch. This goes towards the running costs of the club. Members must also pay a small annual sub to remain affiliated to the OSC.
About Us
We are the County Wicklow branch of the Manchester City, Official Supporter's Club. Founded in August 1999, we are based in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.
History
The idea to set up a Manchester City supporter's club in County Wicklow came amid the tears and flow of Champagne following City's dramatic win over Gillingham in the Division 2 playoff final. Travel Secretary, Tony MacManus and many other Blues in County Wicklow, frustrated at not getting tickets for Wembley were determined not to miss out the next time City reached a final (we're still waiting).
So, on 11 August, after a few weeks of enquiries and ad's in local papers the first meeting of the County Wicklow Blues took place in Katie Gallagher's Bar and a month later we made our debut trip to Maine Road to see Joe Royle's Blue & White Army beat Crystal Palace 2 - 1.
In the 8 years since, we've made the journey to Manchester over 40 times. There have been many ups and many downs; many have come and many have gone but still a hardcore remains.
We're CITY till we die !
